Thank you for your TN CTA State Examination registration!
You have attested that you have met the TN requirements of completion of a TN Board of Chiropractic Examiners approved 50-hour instructional CTA Program and have had a minimum of seven (7) days of program ownership. If this is incorrect, please contact us at info@ctaprogram.com for further assistance.
Please Note: You are not able to begin working in a CTA capacity until you have passed your Exam. That means that as you prepare for your exam, you cannot perform any CTA duties until after you have successfully passed the TN CTA State Exam and have entered in your 1200 Hour Clinical Internship phase.
The testing format you have selected is online (live video proxy). This means you will be proctored via a live video proxy website using your webcam and audio feed from start to finish of your exam session.
HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS
You must have the following hardware components in order to utilize the online exam:
- PC or Mac computer/laptop (phones, tablets, and Chromebooks will not work)
- Web camera
- Microphone (may be in webcam)
- High speed internet connection (no hotspot or tethered connections)
IMPORTANT – Watch for Email to Confirm Your ProctorFree Account
You will be receiving an EMAIL from ProctorFree (our live proxy website) within 3 business days of your registration. We recommend you check your Junk Mail folder, as the email may not go directly to your inbox. Please complete the steps outlined in this email to set up your ProctorFree account. If you need help, contact ProctorFree’s LiveChat – https://support.proctorfree.com.
Taking Your TN CTA State Exam
To take your Exam, you must first be logged in to your CTAprogram.com account. If you are not logged, the Exam will not be accessible during your ProctorFree session.
Once you have set up your ProctorFree account, login to your CTA account and use these step-by-step instructions for taking your exam at your convenience.
You will need your valid Driver’s License or photo ID to present on camera during the authentication process of your Online Exam. Once your Exam begins, you will have 1.5 hours to complete the test.
As a reminder, you are not able to begin working in a CTA capacity until you have passed your Exam. You have the ability to take your exam at the day and time of your choosing, but we recommend that you take the exam no later than 30 days from the completion of your CTA Program for best results. Whether proctored in-person or online, students are expected to adhere to ethical test-taking guidelines.
TN CTA State Exam Exit Process
Immediately after finishing your online exam, you will be directed to complete a CTA Exit Form to provide you with critical information for applying for your TN CTA license. Through this process, you will be provided with downloadable PDFs with samples of the CTA Internship Log, state-required TN Clinical Internship Performance Report form, the TN CTA Rules and Regulations, as well as a copy of the TN CTA license application to use as checklist for applying online.
Getting Your Results
As soon as your exam answers and proctored session have been reviewed, you will receive email notification of your exam score (typically within 72 business hours). Additionally, we will email your CTA 50-Hour Certificate and TN CTA State Exam pass letter to you.
